Hi, I am Kate. Myself, my husband and two young children live in Wallacetown in a quiet cul-de-sac. We have a safe and fun home environment to learn and play, with plenty of grass, shelter and privacy.
There is a great indoor space that is dedicated to home-based care which leads straight out on to a deck and outdoor play area. Outside there is plenty of space for riding bikes and scooters, playing hide’n’seek, jumping, running and swinging. Inside we play with playdough, crafts, painting, puzzles and books, and many more things.
We enjoy going out on outings to local playgroups, coffee groups and ‘Lets get Moving’ sessions. The children also like regular trips to the Museum, Library and down to the local parks.
I have worked in both home-based care as an educator and as a centre-based caregiver. I hold a current First Aid Certificate and will be working towards my Certificate in Early Childhood Practice Level 4.
Children are always learning, and we are there to provide meaningful learning experiences where they can develop at their own pace in a safe and supportive environment. My favourite part of working with children is to watch them achieve something they didn’t think they could do, priceless!
