I currently reside in South Road, Caversham.  I have a lovely 13-year old daughter who attends a local high school and my partner who works 8am to 5.30am, Monday to Friday.  We have two cats, Shaq and Gizmo, who are great with children.

I was trained as a chef when I left high school and worked locally for five years.  After the birth of my daughter I decided to train as a primary school teacher.  I currently hold a Bachelor of Education in Primary Teaching.  I spent two years teaching in England, then came back to Dunedin to provide my daughter with a good quality education and a happy and healthy environment.

Every child deserves a good quality education, and as an educator I aspire to remove barriers and build their confidence in learning within an environment that will be stimulating and nurturing.  I provide an environment where children feel comfortable and safe, and are able to develop into confident and competent learners who are happy and healthy in body, mind and spirit.  I help grow and nurture a sense of belonging in children, so they know that they can make a valued contribution to society.
