Hi, my name is Dianne and I have lived in Owaka since 2017. I really enjoy living in this lovely area and being part of a friendly, close-knit community. I have experience working with young children for a number of years, facilitating the support of children through some of life’s challenges. My passion is to make strong connections with children and establish a flow that gives opportunity for learning.
I believe that laughter and play are essential ingredients to a child’s positive development. My home is a welcoming and friendly place where aroha and respect are very important, and children learn through play and interactions with other children. Gardening, baking, arts and crafts, music and dance are some of my passions that I enjoy sharing with children in my home. As part of my programme we will attend local playgroups and Wild Things’ activities with other educators and children.
With many opportunities for outside play and exploration of nature on our doorstep we will make the most of what the Catlins has to offer. I look forward to meeting you and your children to begin a fun and caring learning journey together.
